Chuck Hamilton,
Music Director of the Nashville Music Medics

Chuck Hamilton is the Music Director, as well as one of our founding members. He also sang Tenor with the award-winning Music City Chorus for several years.

Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he was a featured lead trumpet player and soloist.

Following a career in business for several years Chuck returned to school to earn his MBA degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.  While at Cornell, he co-founded and served as musical director of “The Sound Investments”, a men’s acapella group that sang for many Cornell events for more than 25 years.

After graduating from Cornell, Chuck took a 25-year hiatus from music as he pursued a successful career in finance before he re-discovered his love of playing the trumpet. Chuck co-founded, directs and plays lead trumpet for 5 Points Swing, a jazz big band based in Franklin, Tennessee.

(Chuck is the glue, the connective tissue, that keeps us on track and focused on the music we prepare for these kiddos. He's a pretty good arranger also.)
