Nashville Music Medics-Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
In 2023, the Nashville Music Medics were honored by having their story highlighted on Nashville Public Television, the local Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) station and the wildly popular “Tennessee Crossroads.” Little did we know what an impact it would have on our ministry.
Tennessee Crossroads is a half-hour program that features local restaurants, artists, museums, B & B's, and places of interest. As most of us are transplants to the Nashville area we have loved this program and used it to find some of our favorite spots over the years.
Since our Music Medics chapter was featured on Tennessee Crossroads, their unique style of educational reporting has helped support our mission, bringing awareness to our program here in Nashville. Their support has certainly helped further our program here and around the country where our friends have seen us. The Medics have come to a place we never imagined possible since our humble beginnings.
In late July, we received a contact from Miranda Cohen, the Producer of “Tennessee Crossroads,” asking for our assistance to support the station.
We did just that! Wayne Jackson and Sam English went to the station studio on July 28th to offer some support in their time of need. We wanted to let them know how much their support meant to us since we became “friends and partners” in 2023.We did a brief interview with Miranda which will garner some air time in the near future. Stand-By!
If a local PBS program has touched your lives, we remind you that they need all the support they can get at this time.
