Nashville Music Medics Teach at Denver International Convention Our very own Events Coordinator, Wayne Jackson, was in Denver last week at the Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention, sharing the experiences and successes of the Nashville Music Medics program with others in the Society. A group of 35+ Music Medics from all over the country showcased the program just before the Quartet Finals Saturday evening, singing the program flagship song - “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” What an honor!
Wayne, along with Music Medic Glenn Walton from The Downeasters Chorus "Portland Music Medics,” taught a 45 minute class on “How to Start a Music Medic Program.” The class showed what is possible with our art form and organization — deep community and personal connection through music!
